Sources and license

The filings come from Active Franchise Taxpayers on data.texas.gov, dataset 9cir-efmm, published by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts. A row is listed when the SOS charter date falls inside the downloaded window. The daily job rereads the last 45 days because the file trails the charter date by about one to two weeks. The page shows the taxpayer name, organizational type, SOS or COA file number, taxpayer number, SOS charter date, mailing address, city, ZIP code, state, SOS status, and the NAICS code when the file states one.

The dataset is at https://data.texas.gov/Government-and-Taxes/Active-Franchise-Taxpayers/9cir-efmm. The Comptroller's record layout names the fields. The dataset metadata does not name a license.
